Travel CPAP
Most people who have been diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea already use a CPAP machine at home every night, but when they are heading out on vacation or to travel for work the thought of taking their CPAP on their trip can be daunting. To avoid the temptation to discontinue CPAP therapy while travelling, many manufacturers have developed a smaller, more portable machine.
It’s not a requirement to have a travel CPAP machine, you can certainly travel with your home CPAP but there are several benefits to a travel CPAP machine:

The more days you can continue CPAP therapy while traveling, the better it will be for your long term health.
Another great benefit of a travel CPAP machine is that they are designed to go through airport security more quickly, with many being designated as having Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval. The portability of these machines make it easier to stay on top of your sleep apnea therapy plan while traveling.
